An interesting local market to visit. Don't go expecting the scale of Tsukiji, it's more of a 35 min visit. But still interesting for its variety. The fish cakes and fruit are exceptional. Do try the Strawberries if you aren't on a budget. Also stop...More

After good experience with Omicho and Tsukiji markets in Kanazawa and Tokyo, we came here with empty stomach and feeling greedy. But the vibe here was dull and there's very limited sashimi available. It's a small wet market more for locals to buy home to...More

Still a nice place to stop by especially for breakfast as there is plenty of freshly made food and places to eat. Recommend Yamada's which is around the corner.

Actually, a general market. Some dry goods at the back, pastry and some fishes. Small place and Sun Road, an alley is opposite and also worth a visit.

The fish market was small with little choices. We figured only 1 place offered the dining on the 2nd floor n they are open 930am n we were there before 9am. But they were so nice to allow us to eat at the counter downstairs...More

Yanagibashi offers all sorts of fresh seafood, beef, fruits and vegetables, some souvenirs and snacks and the famous mentaiko which you can buy as mayonnaise or even frozen, good to take home. I even saw barnacles or percebes! The shopkeepers are amazingly friendly and will...More

The market has its own parking lot and it closes on Sunday. Sells a lot of fish and vegetables, all very fresh. We picked up some bitesize tomatoes as snacks. There is a small restaurant on top of one of the stores, which serves sashimi,...More
