Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After having been to a few vineyards in the Barolo/ Alba and Asti area this was our last one and a recommendation of a restaurant in Turin (magazino 52). A small to medium sized family owned winery in the middle of the mountains. We called before to make sure we could have a tasting and it was no problem even though we were a bit late.
One of the people working there showed us the cellar and the terrace with a stunning view over the wine mountains. He took extensive time (we stayed almost 1.5 hours) to talk us through the tasting and answer all the questions we had. The wines are reasonably priced and can be taken from there immediately. A very nice mix of a professional winery in a family run business. We are looking forward to drink the wines in the next years. Thanks!!!

we stayed 2 nights in this Hotel at Germano and it is very nice and comfortable. It is in the town center of Barolo and with a nice and small balcony with a view to the city. The rooms are clean and the wine was good. I can recomend this Hotel for everybody which will have a few days in Barolo.
price is good for such an hotel...

The wine is excellent, worth to go and taste it. We felt very welcome and we bought 2 bottles. It was great to be able to taste wine for free as in every other location you have to pay 2/3 eur min for a tasting glass

Walking through Barolo we come across this beautiful shop.
Come on in.
To welcome us Gianni (Giovanni)
A gentleman from the class of 1942.
He advises us.
We purchase:
Barolo, Nebbiolo, Grappa, Chardonnay, Barbera.
Let's have a word.
In the end I literally fell in love with Barolo hearing Gianni’s stories.
A wonderful person. Who loves his land.
It was a meeting of a humanity that moved me. I rarely feel gratitude. This time I'm grateful to fate for letting me meet such a person. Gorgeous. the wines are delicious. Those who love the land can only do a great job.
These are the people I hope to meet on my travels. That fill the soul.
We will return
And this time we will also bring the children because they deserve to meet these “libraries of humanity”.
Thank you.

The visit to the vineyards was a beautiful experience. The landscape is enchanting and Viviana explained many interesting things to us about the cultivation and production of wine. Even the cellar, with the barrels and vintage bottles, is an almost magical place. After the visit we had lunch at the flying chicken garden (also owned by the Germano family) we had a great time here too. The environment is warm and welcoming, tasting the wines paired with the dishes was another fantastic experience. Viviana, always kind and friendly, as well as evidently very knowledgeable, explained to us the characteristics of the wines and the pairings, transmitting to us all the love for what she does. Impeccable service. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
