Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Such a beautiful beach. Unfortunately no atmosphere, people in the shops were rude. Had money to spend, bc I wasn't dressed to impressed, how quickly they look down at you. The image of pretty women keeps taunting me🤣. So sorry Ladies, you all missed out!! Btw Linen isn't everything I have a wardrobe full of it. Still nice Beach

It's more than a beach, it's part of a wonderful community. The beach itself is beautiful, long and sandy, easy to swim and walk, very family friendly. What makes it even better is the park next to the beach plus a wonderful little restaurant and retail complex with a separate park in the middle of it.
One of the better family and community spots in the whole Sunshine Coast, so much nicer than the contrived Peregian Springs just over David Low Way.

Really enjoyed the swim at this beach. Easy walk and the waves were solid but good fun. Sand was in superb condition. We had lunch at the French patisserie near sushi wave and would recommend both for lunch.

The whole area at Peregian is glorious: beautiful beach, though somewhat wild; and generally good parking depending on time of day. There is a lovely little range of boutiques beside the beach and some excellent cafes and restaurants. Relaxing, fairly unspoilt and just so worth a visit.

We went on a big family holiday at Christmas/NY 2020, which was right at the time of.the bushfires.

Peregian was affected some months before and important to note that the beach and town weren't damaged, although evidence coming in o David Low way is apparent.

Total village atmosphere, absolutely beautiful beach which is patr9lled but was quite choppy, so if you're a non swimmer to be honest take another 20 mins and go to Noosa. All in all, a perfect family get away.

Experienced the worst group of meals I've ever seen from the bistro. Medium steak done blue, plastic on the salami throughout lasagne, cold fish as part of the seafood platter, "garlic bread" aka toast with parsley on it, rotten, cooked steak, last meal given 20mins after reminding that it was yet to come, all after a 1hr 15min wait. THEN waitress and owner smoked 10m from us on the deck and talked about us complaining while we ate the last of our meals at 9pm.

One meal was refunded, one meal was brought out when everyone else had finished and we were given a plate of oysters for free when the only person at our table who eats them and ordered them had finished her meal (seafood platter). Lasagne issue was ignored. No apology whatsoever about any of the problems from the waitress, nor options for refund provided, and the manager walked past our table twice without meeting our gaze. We definitely will never go back there.

The worst part was that there was a write up about the manager owning previous businesses in Victoria and moving here for a seachange and buying another business in Noosa also. So much for business experience. She made three mistakes operating the EFTPOS machine for 2 of the people in our group when ordering. The waitresses were trying their best with the poor quality meals though.

It was very disappointing for our last night on holidays here. I have never conplained about a meal before or written a negative review but this was just abysmal. The rest of the area and our holiday was excellent.

We are a member of this club so decided on Valentine's Day to support our local club. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN. Upon our arrival at 6.30 the kitchen looked abandoned. Eventually the chef?? dressed in a singlet top handed us a couple of menus. A sign on the counter apologized that they were unable to provide tea or coffee. This should have warned of things to come. The front counter staff ( a single girl) who acted as front of house, waitress etc ignored us until she came to retrieve our menus as she had run out at the counter. At this stage there were 6 other people in the dining area.
When our meal appeared it was evident that the meat had not been freshly cooked but simply reheated. The coconut rice was unrecognizable and the creole chicken - well it would have made a good mystery dish because no one would have recognized it. To describe the meal as inedible would be being kind so I returned the meal minus the 2 spoonfuls I have dared to try to the front desk. The chef? And the girl were busy chatting in the kitchen and I was simply ignored so ended up by walking out. Oh, yes - an experience to remember as too was the decidedly dirty apron the chef? was wearing.

we ordered the seafood platter for one, and we received 2 plain oysters, 6 stale grilled prawns, 4 pieces of calamari , 2 pieces of grilled fish, hand ful of salad and chips- minus the cutlery, salt and pepper and sauces and a smile on the waitresses face, i would not recomend this questionable restuarant for a meal . For a wopping cost of $38.00 we would of expected fresh along with quantity and quality on our dinner plate
