I found this castle more interesting than the one in Karak and a lot more preserved. Panels are all around to explain and the restorations have been well made. Very nice view of the surroundings, it changes from the Southern desert!

This is an amazing castle with really thick walls. There was more signage than I expected, but if you are willing to pay there are guides who are willing to explain things to you.

This was not on our list of 'things to see or do' but our taxi driver effectively insisted that, while we were up visiting Jerash, we had to visit Ajlun Castle. Unfortunately, all the way there he was singing the praises and saying how wonderful...More

We had an excellent trip to Jordan this past February. Mona Naffa at Monaco Business Development was wonderful to deal with. The visit to Ajloun was interesting historically.

Visited as part of Jordan Tour. Great views and plenty of history with nice cup of mint tea to finish off. Well worth a visit.
