These caves were really pretty, but the tour was quite short and was only conducted in Italian. We were disappointed that (as many popular attractions in the West are) they did not provide multi lingual devices for the tour.

All in Italian, but could pick up some words and the caves speak for themselves. Today it was certainly a relief from the 42 oC heat!

The caves are truly astonishing. Definitely worth a visit. We visited the caves in April and were almost the only turists there. Definitely not overrun. But be aware that the guides will leave for Siesta.

I've been in caves in many places in the world. I haven't enjoyed any more than I have Grotte di Stiffe. There are other caves with more spectacular stalagtites, stalagmites, curtains, columns, etc. The things that make Grotte di Stiffe so great are 1) it...More

I went with my friends and they enjoyed. The staff is really helpful and well organized from the ticket office to the guided tour into the Stiffe caves. Please don't touch stalactites and stalagmites. Also on Sunday they organize canyoning.

Lovely place to visit, especially on a hot day as the caves are so cool. The tickets are purchased at an 'out post' location (the signs take u to this) then when you buy them you're given a map to drive a further 2km to...More
