Today (17th of Nov 2018) we visited the ticket center and the lady working there explained to us that cave's closed for maintenance until further notice (probably at least until spring) - so call before you go to the cave :)

These caves were really pretty, but the tour was quite short and was only conducted in Italian. We were disappointed that (as many popular attractions in the West are) they did not provide multi lingual devices for the tour.
The caves are truly astonishing. Definitely worth a visit.
We visited the caves in April and were almost the only turists there. Definitely not overrun.
But be aware that the guides will leave for Siesta.
Wonderful place that you can feel peace of mind , as you can take lot of pics , cost of entry 10 euro, we went their by our driver from hotel cost each person 50 euro but stayed with us all the day, but unfortunately...More

I went with my friends and they enjoyed. The staff is really helpful and well organized from the ticket office to the guided tour into the Stiffe caves. Please don't touch stalactites and stalagmites. Also on Sunday they organize canyoning.
