Had heard about this park and visited while passing through. This park is befitting of a big city with a lake surrounded by a running /walking track and lovely timber seating benches.
It also has a pitch and putt course.
Several games pitches .
Visiting friends recently in Templemore ,I had no idea that the park existed.
The children have a play area..There are also outdoor exercise machines etc.

You would miss this park if you didn't know it was there as it is tucked away near Templemore college of Further Edat the end of town. Extensive gorgeous park with water feature, car park and a joy to walk around.
We met up with some cousins who were also visiting from London and were staying in Templemore. We had a lovely afternoon walking through the park and seeing the ruined church and the pond. Unfortunately we didn't go on the fairy trail. Next time.
