A pleasant walk, about 2 kilometres long (each way) hill and dale walks either end, safe swimming, lined with pohutakawa trees. plenty of parking and fortunately we can not take our car onto the beach.
This is a lovely huge beach with plenty of pohutukawa lined along it, so very spectacular in November/December.

Lovely clean 1.5km stretch of golden sand. Numerous access points, most with ample parking. Bordered by many old pohutukawas. On a clear day you can see the whole of the Karikari Peinsula across Doubtless Bay.
