Did the full day tour, although we cut it short due to high winds and rain. We were able to take the earlier boat for our return.
If you are the party type, definitely spend your time near the pool. We like more of the isolation and chose to book a cabana.
Excellent food and service. When renting the cabana you have your own dedicated butler.
We would visit again and hope for better weather.

We really loved our time at Malamala Beach Club! It's not that far from Denarau Island, so you don't waste time on the ferry. The island and surrounding waters are gorgeous. There are non-motorized water activities like paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling available. Oh, and you can jump off the jetty! (We did a few times)
There are plenty of 'free' beds to lounge on, and (which I didn't find on TripAdvisor) 'upgrade' beds and private cabanas (with a butler) that are available (booked in advance; limited number). The 'Full Day' pass is the way to go, given all there is to do (and not do!). Also, gives you the best chance at the free beds.
The infinity pool is relaxing and has a lovely view. The hammocks hanging between the trees were my favorite. The food options are diverse and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Same goes from the drinks! :)
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We didn't feel a burden to them at all. Compared to other islands we visited, the cost for Malamala was very reasonable, given it gave us the best experience.
Definitely a must-do when visiting Fiji, even if staying on another island! :)

Best view of fiji, if you're looking for the beaches you see on social media of fiji with crystal clear water and coral, it is here in Malamala. Booked a cabana for a little extra and got an amazing private part of the beach. Butler service included! RONI was very hospital and even tried his best to fix my phone that got water damage. Food and drink we're on the higher end (still very resonable compared to nz, aus, us' standard) for fiji but worth it if you want to relax in paradise! Book a massage, and it was very cheap, snorking is a must, book Andre if you are afraid of open water swimming by yourself. He's the hot man that walks around the beach. The only complaint was the ferry back were late and full picking from other island. But overall, it was a worthwhile experience, and one I see myself booking again.

We loved malamala beach club we had a cabana which is a must I feel especially with kids. The ride over wad a catamaran with plenty of room for all passengers.
There is also an infinity pool and plenty of tables and chairs.
You can hire snorkeling gear but we took our own.
Reef shoes are a must as the sand is broken up coral.
If we went again we would go for a full day we enjoyed it so much.

Took the boat out to Mulamula Island. Really nice trip on board air conditioned high speed catamaran.
The Island itself is quite small and a breeze to walk around in 20 or so minutes. The staff were friendly and we had our own cabana.
Really extraordinary beach and nice to swim in. I recommend some reef shoes though as the coral can be sharp to walk on. This was an excellent experience and well worth the costs. I thoroughly and enthusiastically recommend it.

If you are staying in Denerau and want the white sand, crystal clear water Fiji experience this is your spot!
Ample water toys and beds to just laze in the sun if you prefer
The food was great and not over priced (compared to NZ standards)
Staff were friendly and chatty, all of which makes for a great day out

Had a great day, fantastic venue, good food although a friend got sick after their meal. Incredible service from ERONI, thank you bud. Only negative which is a big one, has to wait on the dock for an hour after being told to go there to depart. Next time, best to provide some info when the boats late, so guests can go and chill. Otherwise, amazing day.

Lovely island to spend the day on with good snorkeling, friendly staff and a mix of the infinity pool or beach side.

Great day. Recommend getting a cabana for the day as there is butler service. Eroni was our butler and he was engaging, happy and provided great service.

We had a really good day from start to finish
Well organised.
Try the snorkeling when the tide is high.
We booked a cabana which was terrific as was the service and the food was up there with anything else we had in fiji.
Glad we didn’t have to sit around the pool all day with music blasting for the younger crowd !!

Vinaka for your review. Yes, we have a range of different locations on the island to suit different tastes. The cabanas are a great option if you like a quieter day.

Hello, can you please let me know which of the Grand Cabanas is the closest to the main pool/restaurant area? Thank you

Both of our Grand Cabanas are situated on the opposite side of the island to the pool/restaurant, (one's no more closer than the other really).
To give you an idea both would be a 3-5 minute walk from Grand Cabana to dining/pool area.
Your Grand Cabana comes with your own personal Butler.
Look forward to seeing you.
Vinaka.

Bula... Just wondering is it ok if 4 people share a 2 person Cabana? We will be sitting together so we don't want to have 2 separate cabanas. What is the policy on this? Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately the the two person cabana is built for two people. We do not have the facilities to set the Couples Cabana up for more than two.
We do however have our Grand Cabana's (two of these) that can accommodate between 3-8 guests, with the same features as the Couples Cabana that would suit the four of you.
Trust this helps and if you require any further assistance please dont hesitate to email us or go to our live chat on our website.
Unfortunately Trip Advisor does not allow us to write our email address or website url on this platform.

Hi! Coming in early February solo :) Besides booking on the website for the day pass and transport, how much money should I expect to spend at the day club? I'll definitely want to try a few of your cocktails and a salad, does anything else there cost extra money? Activities?

Looking forward to having you come to Malamala Beach Club.
Please do check out our Malamala Beach Club website which will give you food & beverage choices & prices to help you plan ahead. Good luck making that decision - the food is amazing & the cocktails are delicious.
All activities are complimentary while on the island & so to is the amazing hospitality from our team 😁.
When you book with South Sea Cruises your pass is valid for 7 days so if you wish to return during your stay in Fiji then we offer a fantastic returnee rate of FJ$75pp.
Many use this option & offer is exclusive to South Sea Cruises.
Safe travels.

Why do you not offer lockers or some kind of security for valuables? There are a few reviews where missing valuables are mentioned. We stayed in a cabana..surely this would be easily located at each site or in the hub??

Bulla Malamala beachclub staff,
I'm thinking of make a booking your wondeful beach this Augaust.
I have some question to you.
1.I saw at online reviews that your driver left customers even if they wait before time for pickup.
What time should we wait at the hotel? (we'll stay Hilton Denarau)
2.Is the transparency of the sea of August good?
I also saw at online reviews that the sandy beach had a lot of pieces of the coral & there are many seaweed in the sea.
Is the sea not so beautiful at August?
Please let me know the matter mentioned above.

Has anyone taken a child over & are the facilities suitable? We will have our daughter 20months old with us in June. Happy to lock in a cabana if that helps.

Bula 327lyndaw,
We would always recommend booking a cabana for families with young children so that they have a place that is away from all the hustle and bustle. We have received this feedback countless times since our opening. Please note that while we allow children on the island, we do not provide any extra facilities for them. We also recommend booking a cabana as it is still a 'bar / club' environment.
Vinaka,
MBC Team.
