This fantastic historical site is located in Meshgin shahar, Ardabil province. It seems like an ancient temple with strange huge stone figures. Some figures have sword in their hands and some others have no mouth. I really enjoyed visiting the site.

This place is located near Meshgin shahr in Ardabil province. It is unique collection of strange statues just like an ancient logistic. Unfirtunately, there isn't any kind of facility as well as information provider.

Once there was a castle, a temple and a cemetery. Now you will find some vestiges of the castle and the temple, but the cemetry is almost intact. It's absolutely worth a visit for those who are interested in ancient history.

if you go to Ardabil you should visit this place. You may not find such ancient remaining anywhere else in the world. This place goes back to 8,000 years ago to iron age. It's worth spending two hours of your time to visit the place.
