The impressive Boranup forest just out of Margaret River has the giant karri trees and a magical understory. Which is flowering on mass currently. Many beautiful peas and orchids. If you like natural beauty a walk through the forest will restore the heart.

We went to the observation deck and took a drive through the forest. It was nice but don't expect too much. There are comparable drives in other countries.

On the road from Boranup to Hamelin Bay you will find an observation deck at about 3-4 km from Boranup. It is a good place to look at the big Karri trees in this forest.
