If you ever have the luck to travel to Wadi Rum, you absolutely have to ask Ali to be your guide. Wadi Rum is of course spectacular in itself, but what made our trip to Jordan unforgettable were the kind people we met along the way. For Ali, the desert is truly his home and he wants his guests to understand the joys and hardships of Bedouin lifestyle. He speaks great English and is full of fascinating stories, but also gives tourists the space to contemplate the beauty of Wadi Rum. With Ali, we have seen both the classic tourist highlights, as well as breathtaking views in some more remote areas. I recommend touring with Ali to everyone, as he is capable of adjusting his tours both to the calm tourists willing to chill in peace and the thrill-seeking adventure-hunters. We were a party of 4 women and stayed 2 days in Wadi Rum.

We had an amazing experience with our guide Ali during 2 full days and nights in desert. Ali organised everything for our family with 2 young children (5&8) from mattress for our night under the stars to delicious kitchen, fantastic and beautiful views and stops around wadi rum… all in all we can truly recommend Ali and Wadi Rum experience. He will adapt to your wishes and will let you enjoy the true Bedouin life in desert

Ali was the co-organizer (along with our little travel agency) and guide of our 5-day camel trek on Wadi Rum. It was a truly magical experience and he helped make true my dreams of spending a few days on the desert, undisturbed by deadlines, mobile reception, and other hassles of the modern life. Altogether, he created a great trek route and itinerary and made sure everything worked perfectly. The distances, lunch breaks in shaded places, great overnight spots, the food and all the logistics. He offered numerous stories about the traditions of his family and the Bedouins, and life on the desert. We also scaled the highest peak in Jordan being led by Ali. He was accompanied all the time by two other Bedouins taking care of the camels, and in the evenings a lovely run-down 4WD pickup would bring two additional men with great food and mattresses for the nights under the skies.
All in all, Ali and his companions and are a great choice if one's into a truly special and memorable desert experience (as the company's name justifiably implies). Recommend without hesitation!

All the tours start at the Visitor Center and you have a choice of a 2 hour or a 4 hour tour. We took the 2 hour tour and 4 of us piled on the back of a Toyota pick up truck that had 2 benches. The landscape is amazing and we stopped off several times to take photos. The ride is quite bumpy so make sure you have a strong back. But definitely something worth experiencing.

We spent three days with Ali in Wadi Rum in September 2022 where we did the hike to Burdah rock bridge, one full day of sport climbing and the scramble to the summit of Jebel Rum. We slept two days in the desert and the last night in a camp.
We knew beforehand what activities we wanted to do and Ali was able to accommodate our wishes while other guides that we contacted just answered with pre-defined itineraries that were not what we requested.
The whole experience was perfect, Ali took care of the transport, food, sleeping arrangements, etc. He found pleasant spots to spend the night and entertained us with interesting stories about the Bedouin life while cooking delicious food and tea.
Ali is the person to go to enjoy Wadi Rum at its best!

We spent 2 amazing days and 1 night cave in the desert with Ali who has been a wonderful guide fur us.
The first day, Ali showed us all the notable points in the desert with some gorgeous places he knew.
We finished the night with a great meal (and tea) he prepared for us and we slept in the desert and under the stars.
The second day, we hiked with him in Jebel Um Ad Dami mountain, which was superb. We continued with some other beautiful places in the desert.
Ali has been perfect from the beginning to the end, always remaining available and kind with us.
We totally recommend Ali for your trip in the desert !

Ali was an incredible guide! He is a professional climber and knows so many things about nature! Going to the desert with him was the best choice!
In 10 hours we did Jabal rum hike ( abu ADOD summit) in 1547 m height. If you are searching for something more than just a simple hike and do not have a knowelgede of how to climb I hightly reccomend to do this trek. It was challenging, long but at the same time we got the chance to get to know how to clim (without ropes)!

We had a wonderful time with Ali. We spent 3 days with him in October 2023.
He knows the desert better than anyone else and is an amazing person full of kindness and fun.
Every day he cooked a delicious meal and organized great hikes for us.
Ali perfectly understood our expectations and prepared the perfect tour for us.

My friend and I spent two days and one night with Ali! Experienced the desert with such a great guide was incredible. If you are looking for a real bedouin adventure in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend to go on tour with Ali. He knows everything about this area since he was born and grew up there. He is a really good story teller and also a great singer & cooker.
Don’t expect to see other tourists on the tour, Ali makes sure to take you to places only Bedouins know. It will give you the feeling that you have the desert just for you: priceless

Ali was our guide for 4 days. He is a great guide and wonderful personality. I enjoyed it so much that I returned this year to meet him again. I strongly recommend sleeping under the stars on the desert, not in the tent.
