Drove all the way to lagoa with the family in rental car to see the caves thinking we could walk into them from beach, we arrived at benagil beach it was packed nowhere to sit every inch of sand was taking ( its very small)...More

On our visit we were the only ones in the restaurant. Owner said Saturdays in November are always slow. For was exceptional on quality and quantity. Well worth a visit.

The cave is located just behind the left corner of the Benagil beach. It can be reach by swimming. However, it is forbidden to do so in case of bad sea conditions and it is not recommended in the rest of cases by local authorities....More
