Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

These theatres are dirty and stink. The place needs a deep clean from top to bottom and you can tell the dirt and rubbish lying around (near escalators) has been there for a while. Also, the damp smell is so bad i could still smell it through my mask. Managers - crack down on your cleaners to make this a nicer experience for patrons.

Cinema is ok but Westfield Parramatta slugged me $50 for 6 hr parking. Ouch! The experience completely ruined an otherwise good movie. Regardless of how great the cinema or movie is, Westfield can ruin the whole movie experience.

Not well maintained & bad customer service..
There is no direction or board for vmax screen, though u have signs for others..
Since it's a prime location, it's crowded, but there aren't enough staff especially after evening..
Pls increase the staff, when it's crowded..
Movies end after 12, if u need any help, mostly there are no staff to reach..
Indian movies have break/intermission, but I have seen, they play movie with out break sometimes.. which is not good..
Otherwise the theatre are good..
To the management pls look into the issue, provide a better customer service..

Unfortunately there is no extended free parking if watch a film here. Westfield Parramatta no longer use parking tickets but instead scan your rego plate. Perhaps Events Cinema will sort it out with Westfield later but in the meantime this cinema will be losing revenue.

Lack of staff (who are polite, hard-working... essentially Event’s best asset), filthy and broken toilets, smelly seats, stained cinema screens makes coming here a necessary evil if you want to see your standard Hollywood film and not have to travel. The typically poor behaviour of a few patrons each time I’ve been recently rounds out a pretty poor overall cinema experience at Event Parramatta.
I do miss being served by box office, ushers and candy bar attendants. It made the cinema experience special. Alas, those days are permanently gone, but as ticket prices go up, the service and amenity of the cinema experience goes down.
It’s hardly worth bothering with the flicks anymore when it’s more comfortable watching streaming video at home or going to see live theatre productions in venues that care about their patrons enough to invest in keeping everything clean and tidy.
What a shame that Event cares more about their bottom line than the quality of what they provide. They must assume people are happy to put up and shut up and the proposition of watching films on a big screen is enough enticement. They’re in lowest common denominator territory now, and it’s a race that leads to the bottom.
Lift your game or risk your overall reputation.

I saw Toy Story 4 in Gold Class on Tuesday 16th July. The cinema remained empty of other people until part way through the ads, two people arrived. Then shortly after the Pixar short film started two more people arrived. What is the point of paying top dollar for Gold Class if you're not going to arrive on time?
Anyway, the four other people were quiet throughout the movie so that was great.
I found the seating to be clean and comfortable. The foot rest and seat back are adjustable and easy to use. It's so adjustable that no matter how short or tall you are, you can enjoy having your feet up if you like.
My food was brought into the cinema promptly. I ordered the crinkle cut fries and it was a generous serving but I still think $12 is a bit steep, even if you factor in the service of someone coming to bring it to you. I would have liked to try an ice cream sundae but decided not to, as they cost $26 each!
I used the toilets nearest the Gold Class cinemas before the movie and found them to be very clean and they had plenty of toilet paper. The cinema itself was also very clean. Not a speck of popcorn to be seen.
The lady who took my order was friendly.
The whole experience was great, with only two minor things:
1. The food is ridiculously over priced and I'm not sure how easy it would be to sneak your own food in.
2. I was in cinema 2 and the movie in cinema 3 had already started and was so LOUD that I could hear it clearly as I sat in my recliner seat. There was singing, chanting and cheering in this movie. I closed the door to cinema 2 and then thankfully when the ads began, the noise drowned out all noise from cinema 3. I was not further bothered by outside noise during the movie, and no, Toy Story 4 was thankfully not too loud.
So drop the food price a bit and lower the ads/movie volume a bit and you'd have a five star experience there.

Bought tickets online, and when presented the electronic tickets at door, told we had to print them out. Box office not open despite being busy, so everyone had to purchase tickets through candy bar. As per every cinema, drinks and food outrageously expensive. Ten mins before movie started, we were told we couldn’t go in because they were still cleaning. Got let in just after the start time and it was already dark and the ads were playing. Restrooms dirty - no soap in any of the three dispensers, and no paper in several cubicles. All in all, a poor experience given how much tickets are. Will not be back.

The place is filthy and barely maintained or fixed, as you probably already know. But the worst part is that during the ENTIRE movie, there is a light on top right corner keeps flashing ALL the time. I want my money back...

This is the dirtiest Cinema I have ever entered. Only staff they have are on entry. The seats smell and they had sticky filthy floors everywhere. I will not return.
