Stunning beach surrounded by mountains. Crystal clear water and thousands of fish to see with a snorkel. Bit of a bumpy road to get there, but well worth the effort.

A fantastic beach with lovely open views and great swimming. The car park here does fill up quite quickly in high season, and the dusty road to get here can be a challenging drive at times.

Despite being all over popular culture, the beach was surprisingly deserted. The volcanic rocks give the beach a very dramatic look. Youd have to take your own food/drinks and beach spreads since Playa de Monsul is in a natural reserve and there is zero commercialisation...More

Beach can be easily reached from Carboneras (signs available). There's a car park space (5 Eur) that gets full after 11 am..get there earlier. You have to walk 800 mts of difficult pathway (reccomended rubber shoes). There's nothing on beach, take water and (especially) beach...More

First point to note is that if you intend to drive here, go before lunch time because the car park is small. We tried on one day and it was already full 11:30. The next day we tried at 9:30 and was fine. You can...More

From the parking lot which is quite small, it is about 200-500 meters depending on where you will find a free space to go to the beach. The beach and the surrounding environment are nice and some scenes from Indiana Jones are recorded here giving...More

Lovely entry to this spacious, yet welcoming beach. Rock formation enclosures at each end of the beach gives one the feeling of not being too exposed yet it is expansive. Love this part of Spain with the desert landscapes and untouched beaches. There's also a lovely...More

This was far the best beach for snorkeling in the area. Also mostly families with kids. We got there early before 10am and it was easy to get a parking spot. By the time we left both beach and parking lot were packed.
