The area is small and looks like a dry well. But the tomb is dedicated to the resistance movement against the British by one of Keralas famous chieftains. The place is closed on Mondays and by 5pm every other day.

It is a very small museum, which has the tomb of the great ruler Pazhassi Raja. Neatly maintained. Ask the guide to explain the scriptures on the wall, which actually depicts the war story. It is near to Mananthavady town, and Pazhassi Memorial Public Library.
