Piediluco itself is a real beauty spot. But if you're there in the hot summer, since the lake is not for swimming, go to a nearby pool. It is just at the end of the town of Piediluco, called Piscina Olimpionica, adjacent to Piediluco camping....More

It is wonderful, the village is tiny and picturesque, it is located along the lake. If you visit the village you can see that in every corner there is a view of the lake, some views are really amazing.

The village is very small but you can walk by the lake. We didn't see any places for swimming and the lake is mainly used for training rowing.

Ideal for a romantic "passegiatta" around the lake. Amazing and enchanting views and an old church dedicated to St Francis of Assisi.

Very much worth visiting if in the area. Peaceful, calm, sunbathe, watch the boat races and training. Can get bus here from Terni quite easily.

We visited the town of piediluca on the banks of the river. Fab food and views topped off by a ferry ride across the tranquil lake

We went for a boat ride around the lovely lake, which is used for Olympic rowing training. Then we had a great (but large!) fish lunch in a restaurant overlooking the lake.

Even those of us fortunate enough to live in Umbria for many years sometimes run across a borgo,in this case complete with a clean water lake, that had been almost completely ignored as a tourist attraction. We went with an organized group for a boat trip...More

A short ride from Terni, you will find this magical peaceful lake. We took a pedal boat, and started pedaling in the lake. The atmosphere was romantic, the view was breathtaking. We saw some birds and ducks, nature at its beauty! After an hour, we...More
