Coming from Marmore it is better to drive through the village for a good parking. The parking accesses a bar where you can buy tickets for a 40 minute boat trip on the lake. Slow and peaceful.

It is wonderful, the village is tiny and picturesque, it is located along the lake. If you visit the village you can see that in every corner there is a view of the lake, some views are really amazing.

The village is very small but you can walk by the lake. We didn't see any places for swimming and the lake is mainly used for training rowing.

Ideal for a romantic "passegiatta" around the lake. Amazing and enchanting views and an old church dedicated to St Francis of Assisi.

Very much worth visiting if in the area. Peaceful, calm, sunbathe, watch the boat races and training. Can get bus here from Terni quite easily.

We visited the town of piediluca on the banks of the river. Fab food and views topped off by a ferry ride across the tranquil lake
