Always enjoy a visit to the grove... small car park, but never been a problem getting parked. It's a nice easy walk through some wonderful bush. Wondrous trees. And then the impressive limestone formations and the grand reveal. Nice open views. Love it.

Just outside Takaka is a special place. It's a short walk through the reserve, past ferns and through a massive crack in the rocks with roots creeping down the sides. The end of the walk is a viewing platform with fabulous views over the farmland....More

One of the best short walks in the bay with a wonderful surprise reveal through the cliffs at the end.

Really short walk of only 30 minutes. The rainforest and rock formations are fabulous! We had great fun running around, exploring , nice and cool under the canopy of trees, amazing rock formations and a little cave. A must visit!

The Grove's location is on the local tourist maps and the Takaka information centre will direct you. From Clifton it is well signposted. It is a spectacular jumble of massive limestone boulders with an easy walking circuit.
