I was here in the late 90's and it was such a great golf course. The layout remains fantastic, but sadly it's conditions have degenerated. Though it's a decent course to play, the entire place (save for tee boxes and greens) are littered with Kangaroo...More

Sadly three crosses for me. 1. Our table was situated in front of the main staircase which meant that every person that walked into the restaurant was looking at us and our food. No privacy. 2. The food took ....forever. They did apologise for being...More

Potentially a magnificent golf course, but unfortunately it needs a lot of TLC. Exposed rocks in bunkers which look like they haven't had sand in them for months. I'd love to go back knowing some maintenance had been done to the course and clubhouse. Very...More

Lovely course - very peaceful and great wildlife too. Very helpful staff. Araluen Botantic Gardens are nearby too and worth a visit - beautifully landscaped, quiet and relaxing. Will definitely revisit both on our return trips to WA.

Heading up to Araluen at 7.30 into the sun and seeing the clouds covering the hills with the heater on full bore I was excited. I'm glad our car could handle the steep, wet, windy road up there, 3 big people and 3 sets of...More

Beautiful, interesting and challenging course, however had an eery, slightly abandoned feel at times. course itself is relatively well maintained and enjoyable, however cart paths hadn't been maintained for some time. Pro-shop had hardly anything in it and you could see why - not many...More

About 45 minutes out of Perth, and usually not too crowded. Well worth the drive, as this course is a championship grade course that has been rated in the top 100 in Australia (I have played about 10 courses within the top 100 in Australia,...More
