Best to be there on a Blue sky day to appreciate the colour of the sea and sand. There is also plenty of eateries to choose from just ask your driver.

Hired a car from. Our resort... Turtle Bay, and headed north about 35km. Kept driving past the usual champange beach and got glimpses of some incredible water color. There is a sign post inviting you in and there is no charge unlike some others. We found most probably the best beach I have been to, there is a small restaurant and bar and the beach. We were lucky and have the place almost to ourselves. If there was a hotel on site I'd never leave.

It's a stunning spot. I whiled away an hour or so on the foreshore watching young men fishing in the sea and a chat with some local girls. I had a beer on the beach at one of the restaurants (there are about 4 or 5 bungalow accommodation places each with a bar/restaurant on the beachfront). The food looked good but I had brought a picnic so I just sat and enjoyed the view a while. On the way otu of town I had to avoid the cows on the road. It's a sleepy little place but locals are friendly and they really could use some tourist income I guess. But not much to do here besides admire the view.

This is one of the most breathtaking places I've ever been. I literally want to tell you that it's awful and that you'd hate it, so that you'll avoid it and I'll have it to myself. No, really. I've never felt so much like I was in a real life suntan lotion ad. White sand, turquoise water, and a coconut tree - it was almost overwhelming in it's beauty. We stopped her for lunch as part of a day tour from Luganville and were absolutely in love with it immediately. Do check before you go to see if there's going to be a cruise ship there, as you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of it when it's quiet. When we were there, there were about 10 other people on the whole beach which just added to the magic.

On the day that I wanted to see this beach there was no available transport (which can happen here). So with limited days on Santo, I figured as this was a place I’d wanted to visit, I figured best to make use of the day and get up there one way or another – by bicycle. So I made the 12 kilometer ride up and down over lots of hills and past lush jungles, coconut forests, and past small villages and finally reached the beach (which does not have an entry fee like Champagne Beach). There’s also a small restaurant one can eat at (although I did not dine there), and even some bungalows that people can stay at nearby. This beach however, had a much more strong current as I could see just by looking at the conditions from the shore. There were also many more waves and it clearly got much deeper quicker than other beaches that I had visited in the area. Thus, I actually did not go into the water, but did enjoy the view which is exceptionally great, the water super turquoise and you can see the not too distant Dolphin Island just off coast to the east. I think that this place would be great for a nice half (or full day) trip and should certainly be a place to visit when on Santo!
