Wow, what an amazingly full and challenging day out. We had a group of twenty ranging in age from 8 to 74 and we were all blown away with the tour. From island gardens to cliff-side ladders, climbing over boulders to wading through a long, dark, water-filled cave to a relaxing float at the end - this is an absolute must whilst in Santo.

What an incredible tour. Depending on personal speed and group dynamics this can take up to 7 hours of hiking, canyoning, swimming and cave climbing. The nature, sights, waterfalls and canyons are absolutely awesome. The mix of different things is a real joy. The cave is really a hidden treasure. You can enjoy yourself with absolutely epic surroundings. Our guide Simon explained a few trees and fruits on the long way and was quite helpful at the more difficult parts. He has a good sense of humor and was always a helping hand for my wife. The drive up to the tour start takes really long (1,5hours), as the roads are in terrible condition. As much fun as the tour is, it has in my opinion a few security issues. The slippery parts you manage easy, but a few of the wooden ladders really need some maintenance. A swimming west is provided, but you get no helmets. These would come in handy, if you slip in the cave or at the canonying part. That could be combined with a headlamp, as holding the flashlight in one hand the balancing is quite an act in the dark. Bring good swimming shoes along. Always remember, you are in the middle of nowhere and it takes hours for a rescue.

This was a great day out and although challenging was a highlight of out time in Vanuatu. This type of experience where PC safety is not an issue yet the guides are experienced and provide a huge level of safety and assistance as is needed. The teen agers raced ahead with their own guide, but due to this missed doing the jumps into the water that the other guides showed us where and how to do. Embrace the challenge and the experience.

It was rather physically challenging but for a 60year old female it was amazing and life-changing to get through to the end. I would have thought I was moderately fit but after this experience I feel I could conquer anything. The young guides were amazing and incredibly caring all the way through to the end. This is probably the most incredible experience I have had in all of my life, that would not have ever been possible without Sam(The owner) having carved tiny steps and having placed strategic handles into some of the huge boulders and creating ropes and ladders into small ravines where you would otherwise be unable to get to or pass. It was a most amazing experience.

This was a stunning journey, it was like walking through an Indiana Jones movie. There's swimming, canyoning, and ladders- so many ladders. The canyoning was great fun, but it can be unsafe for those that aren't ready to use all of their limbs to go from boulder to boulder and across deep crevices. They have added ropes and bars to hold onto in most areas, but some people still struggled with their balance. They did seem careful about who they allowed on the tour and assisted those that needed it. Wear shoes that have grip and that you don't mind swimming in! In all, we didn't find it to be nearly as hard as we expected from the reviews, and we were back by around 3.
