Great place to visit. Great views and photo opportunities. 4kms out of Silverton on sealed roads. Very popular location for tourists.

The view over Mundi Mundi plains makes you feel so insignificant. The lookout faces west so the sunset is spectacular. It can be a bit crowded though. Hot tip: don’t be a jerk. Stay at the main lookout so you don’t ruin everyone else’s photos.

About 150km to the west and into south Australia you can see the Peaks of the Flinders Ranges on a clear day. A great spot to watch the sunset and look out across the vast Mundi Mundi plains. Well worth the drive from Broken Hill.

Watching the sun go down was breathtaking. Some people had set themselves up with camp chairs, and nibbles. You can see for miles.

A good place to see the filming of Max Max 2. There is nothing but baron plains and rocks for miles.

Arrived one hour before sunset and we were the second vehicle there. Within 10minutes another half dozen vehicles arrived. The sunset was worth waiting for.

There's not a lot to see but we found it interesting to see how arid it was and could imagine the filming of Mad Max 2 there.

This is a pretty amaZing view. We went out well before the sunset to enjoy the view in the daylight and didn’t regret it, sunset was magnificent and we hung around to enjoy the stars in their brightness
