We enjoyed every single part of this multi-experience day. On the boat ride across Lake Manapouri we saw amazing sights in every direction as it was packed with hills, islands and things to look at. As we drove up and over the steep Wilmot Pass we learnt about the construction of the Manapouri power station and we gasped at the splendid view into Deep Cove. The kayaking in Hall Arm of Doubtful sound was smashing. We tranquility of kayaking gently through the sound getting such an up close look at the plants, geology and ecology of the sounds. Mark, our accomplised guide, ensured our safety at all times and relished telling us the natural history of the place with passion and encyclopedic knowledge. We would do it again for sure. This is the Doubtful Sounds trip to take!

Experience of a lifetime. Made extra-special by guides Mark and Nepia, whose passion and knowledge for the area, coupled with endless stories, kept us entertained on the long journey to and from the kayaks.

An awesome day out - great team of Mark and Nepia - well organized tour - heaps of time kayaking in spectacular Doubtful Sound- we even had the resident dolphins come near us twice during our time in the water. Highly recommend a tour with these guys - an awesome small group experience.

We had a phenomenal time with Jesse and Cloudi. It was an unbelievable day combining unique-to-the-world natural beauty and the best Kiwi hospitality we experienced anywhere on our trip. Highly highly recommend over the larger commercial tour or cruise companies.

Kia ora, Thank you very much for your review of our Doubtful Sound one day kayak journey. It is fantastic to read that you enjoyed and highly recommend our journey. Thank you for taking the time to write about us and how amazing your experience was. Although we are a small company, our Doubtful Sound experience takes place using private boats and coaches, where other experiences of Doubtful Sound may mix with people from other tours. We are "on our own" for the whole journey and that does keep a strong sense of isolation and wilderness. We look forward to seeing you again in Fiordland. Doubtful Sound Kayak

My guide (Jessie) was terrific, office staff were friendly to help me book, and equipment was nice. Obviously the sound itself is one of the world's most remarkable features. The trip may seem expensive (and it is), but realize they take you on a bus to a boat to another bus to the kayaks. The sound is hard to get to, but this trip is amazing.

Kia ora, Thank you very much for your review of our Doubtful Sound one day kayak journey. It is fantastic to read. Thank you for taking the time to write about us and how amazing your experience was. Our Doubtful Sound experience takes place using a private boat (just for our kayaks), a bus on Wilmot Pass (just for kayaks) and a wharf on Doubtful Sound (just for kayaks), where other experiences of Doubtful Sound may mix with people from other tours. At the end of the kayak journey, we also cruise on Doubtful Sound back to the wharf. We are "on our own" for the whole journey and that does keep a strong sense of isolation and wilderness. We look forward to seeing you again in Fiordland. Doubtful Sound Kayak
