Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were recommended to try the Solinka trout at this restaurant by a local taxi driver. The room has no airs and graces, just friendly staff, eager to please, and what seemed like lots of local families out for a treat. Our trout was cooked to perfection and served with roasted vegetables - simple and enjoyable and very reasonably priced. We saw other diners eating pizzas cooked in the wood oven - they were enormous and looked delicious; if only we'd had time to go back another night - - - - . Definitely worth a try.

I especially liked the part immediately in the city centre, with a sort of a lake with ducks house and very nice old bridge. There you can enjoy the view and sound of river flowing, and feed the ducks.

Lovely River to spend time strolling or sitting with a picnic located in a very historic part of Solin.

Nice little river in the middle of city. Wouldn't travel too far to see this, but very charming and worth seeing if you are in the neighborhood.

Ok it’s a small river flowing through a small village in Croatia so nothing much to shout about.

But it’s clean, the water is clear and brimming with fish and ducks and walking along the riverbank in the evening is calming and very relaxing. If you are in the area take advantage of it.

The length is 4.5 km. It supplies Split, Kaštela and Trogir with water. It flows into the Adriatic Sea.
Just go around and follow the river, you'll see a lot of ducks swimming.

It's been a few years since I was here, but if you're looking to take your family to nature outside of Split and just enjoy yourself, this is a great place to go visit. There is lots of space to run and play with ball or frisbee or just play catch.

In an evening it is lovely walking in the park and across the bridge to where there are a few pavement cafes. There is a nice little Ice cream booth in the park area and a church and monument, and from there you can walk along the river bank.
There are plenty of fish and ducks in the river ideal for an evening stroll.

The source of the river Jadro is an excellent spot for a picnic
The day we visited the area was a hot day in August
The area was clean and well appointed with portaloo and bbq area
We took a picnic lunch and afterwards swam in the pristine waters of the River Jadro
