We’ve wine tasted around the world and we think Coppos is one of the best for Barbara’s , unbelievably delicious! We are staying in Calosso and wanted to wine taste after a day of driving through the beautiful countryside. We checked TripAdvisor of course and saw Coppo. We drove the short 20 minutes without an appointment ! The gracious co owner Luigi accompanied us with a tasting. The Barbera which we tasted was unbelievable, so fresh , so smooth. I’d drink it everyday if I could. Stop bye, it’s not inexpensive, but money well spent!

We liked the visit at the Coppo winery where we saw the scenic wine caves. After the tour we enjoyed abut 6 wines in an informative wine tasting. Overall, the visit was ok, but we expected to see more of the caves which we found pretty, but rather small. The entire visit is pretty expensive (40 euros).

You visit this cellar not so much for the wine also if it is exceptional (including the white one!!!!), but to see the cellar structure: absolutely MAG_NI_FI_CENT ! The atmosphere and the history of this ancient cellar are pure magic! Wine tasting is performed in a bright new space, very very elegant and classy Personnel accompanying during the visit and wine tasting is highly professional, knowledgeable and extremely courteous

We had a bottle of wine from Coppo one evening and enjoyed it so much we immediately organised to visit. Interesting tour of cellar and good tasting of several wines and at 20 Euros a head cheaper than some other options.

My husband and I visited the Coppo winery in May of 2018. The cellar is built into the side of a mountain in the charming town of Canelli. We took the Sparkling Wine tour which I would highly recommend. Our tour guide was Luigi who is part of the family that founded the winery. He gave us an awesome tour that was ~1 hour and then we got to try 5-6 different wines. Luigi explained the story behind each wine and was very passionate about his work. We ordered 6 bottles of wine and can't wait to open them up for a special occasion. We toured 6 different wineries in the area and this was definitely our favorite.
