We spent a wonderful time in Sajuna Beach Club. It is located on the road from Senchi, to Akosombo, near Atimpoku.
The staff is extremly friendly, they suggest you to enjoy your meal and drinks every time you order. The food is perfect, especially the tilapia dishes. There are lots of things to do for young people, children and even for tourists. The music is all right and you can make a boat trip on the river. with the guided tour. You can also rent a kayak and peddle along the Volta river to see Ghana in a totally different manner.
You can play soccer, or tabletennis, you can use the splash pools, as lots of Ghanian visitors do. If you wish to play volleyball, the staff may join in, and this increases the fun again.
It can be crowded on saturday's, but you may actually like the rumble of hundreds of students, who do not care about a tropical rainshower.
We suggest you keep a day free in your itinerary, and include Sajuna Beach Club on your things to do in Ghana list .

Clean, fun, good food where they take the time necessary to prepare it fresh and tasty. Friendly personnel. It can be crowded during weekends, but enjoy watching the other guests while waiting for your turn.

Stopped in mid week in the morning and the place was empty, which was just our taste. Had driven by on Sunday and it was a huge party, so it depends what you're looking for. The name is a bit of a misnomer, there is no beach. This is a riverfront activity center with boating, swimming pools, games, and food. They have the largest kid splash pool I've ever seen, a full sized pool that is 2 feet deep on the shallow end and 3 feet deep at the deep end. We had to be careful with our 3 year old who lost his footing one time and could hardly stand up. But if you're with you kids full time it is excellent, our kids had a blast. Included in the modest Gh 8 entrance fee is swimming, trampoline, volley ball, table tennis, table football and more. We also took the motor boat ride for Gh 15, a 45 min cruise down the river where we saw people farming, raising tilapia, and went under the bridge. The boat operator was knowledgable and friendly without being intrusive. All the staff were kind and helpful. The Dutch(?) owner was around and treated us warmly. We didn't eat so can't comment on that. You can't miss the place, on the main road just a km or so south of the bridge on the right as you travel north.

Food and drinks are allowed! ) Even though they have a bar, but most of the visitors bring their own food. There are tables and chairs to accommodate large groups. Like my post! ;)

The Ghana Tourism Authority E.R. has awarded Sajuna Beach Club in Atimpoko for creating a very attractive place where thousands of tourists and holiday-makers have a wonderful day out.

The Tourism Authority has concluded that Sajuna Beach Club is undoubtedly one of the best recreational facilities along the Volta river that provides boat cruising, watersports, swimming pools and a wide variety of sporting and recreational activities.

Sajuna is our favorite hangout whenever we are in Ghana. Well deserved, congratulations!

I went with a group of 8 today to Sajuna after a trip to Akosombo, and was looking forward to a relaxing lunch. We arrived extremely hungry, so asked repeatedly how long the food would take, and which dishes would be quicker. We were assured that the food would be ready in 30 - 40 minutes. In actual fact, it did not arrive until over 1.5 hours later. In addition, were were never updated as to the fact that there was a delay, and when we asked about food being ready, we were told that it was about to be served. 20 minutes later we were yet to see a single dish. Sajuna's recreational areas are nice, and it has the potential to be a nice escape from the bustle of Accra, but the appalling service means that I will not be back. If you are looking for basic service etiquette (read: not exceptional, basic), or are hungry, please stay away.

Been here with teams for 'Team building' events. You can buy food there or bring your own food. The is a good boat cruise on the Volta river. There is also space for Volley ball and other games. Quality can improve but overall it is okay.
