The beach is very good apart from the seaweed. Nice shelving sand and good for little-uns. Had a bite in The Waves Café - had the wraps and they were good, the service was average. Normally its quiet here and the parking is free -...More

Minnis Bay is just a short journey on through Birchington. After enjoying "Beautiful Birchington", this long and tranquil beach is a must. Free parking, beach wheelchairs, cafe and ice-cream all available, as are toilets. Excellent restaurant with a bar affords the perfect place to watch...More

Nice beach here, not too busy but certainly not one of the quietest. Lovely beach huts. Saw some people crabbing. When the tide is high there isn’t really any beach left. Nice park just opposite too and football field.

This is a fairly small beach, and when the tide comes in, there is almost no beach. There is a huge amount of seaweed lying in ribbons across the sand, there is no reason why the local authority cannot have a tractor with a sand...More

Lovely sandy beach with free parking along the approach road and more pay and display parking in the Minis pub car park. Mainly a beach not to much else there apart from a couple of cafes and an ice cream parlour. Really nice.

This has got to be one of the best places to see a summer sunset in Kent on a clear summer evening. Try it one evening and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.
