Quite a few steps involved in getting into the Lava Tube but well worth it. You can sit down and wait for the group if you do not want to go into the second area. Fascinating to hear how these were formed.

Great facilities, great tour. We did the active Explorer tour and our guide Denis was great. He is very comfortable with big groups (21 of us) and able to answered everyone's questions. It's interesting to see and it's quite amazing!

If you've seen caves elsewhere and think of passing on Undara, reconsider. These are nothing like any limestone cave anywhere. Did a half day tour organized from Bedrock Village, to start , we walked around the top of an ancient crater with spectacular views over the landscape, saw many kangaroos & wallabies; followed by morning tea prepared by our tour guide ( excellent Anzac bikkies)...More
