We met up with our guide Sofia at the Sao Bras Costume Museum, where the tour starts. After an interesting intro to the history of cork since Roman times, we went out to see the factory and how the cork is selected and processed.
Informative, interesting, fascinating. A wonderful day out, so good I have now been twice. Everything you ever wanted to know about cork and more. I would thoroughly recommend it. Excellent and well informed tour guide. Make sure you book in advance.
