Big stretch of beach with adjoining beaches that can be strung together to make a walk. It is possible to walk all the way to Albufeira old town if you don’t mind a bit of a scramble over rocks.

What a beautiful village with single road leading to the beach, shops and restaurants. Still relatively unspoiled compared to neighbouring resorts though some notable changes since last staying there 10 years ago but nothing which has “spoiled” the place

Nice clean little beach with restaurants nearby. Toilets on prom. There are sun beds. Undercover pay car park near beach, otherwise free parking is quite a walk away.

Beautiful not too touristy but busy beach clean and great for all ages. Plenty to eat and drink. Just a lovely place to be, whether you like eating, drinking, sunbathing, swimming or people watching. Sit and watch the boats come in and land their catch....More

On our recent visit (June) there was no police around .. all looked fine

We hsve benec4 times now and only seen police once , which to be fair I wish they were about more of often. It was nice to see in this day an age .
