Lovely clear waters, great rocks to climb and a fabulous taverna. It is a very nice place to visit for the day - azing in the sun and swimming here is far better than than somewhere like Agios Prokopios which is ghastly.
It’s a bit of a journey compared to the more accessible beaches on Naxos but well worth it. Tip, go as close to the hill as possible and you will avoid the big flat rock in the beach entrance. Tip 2: eat at the small...More
On our forth trip to Naxos we discovered this beautiful laid back beach.
There are 3 umbrella areas. It’s not too packed. People are friendly. With only one taverna it’s a completely different feel to Agios Anna and Plaka.
We loved it.
We got the bus here from Naxos Town port. It cost €2.40 each way.
Yes in the north side of beach the wind does blow and that area is higher by wind & kite surfers.
The south side of the beach though today 2nd July...More
I was in Mikri Vigla this June (me and my partner rented a flat in the area). Basically there are two beaches divided by a headland: in both the sea is pristine and stunning... but one part of the beach is often windy and famous...More
Right next to Orkos beach, past the kitesurfers... The white rocks combined with the golden sand create a stunning landscape! The waters are shallow and the beach is generally very clean. Beautiful colors <3, loved the nature around.
What a beautiful beach! Even though it was to cold to swim, we still enjoyed our time here exploring the rocks and watching the sunset. It was absolutely beautiful! Take a blanket and some wine, climb up the rocks and sit and watch. You wont...More
Mikri Vigla was a serious disappointment on an outing I took from Naxos town. The bus left me by the beach on the south side of the headland - a long and sandy stretch with some attractive rocks and trees, and pleasant views apart from...More
Sandy, long beach. Beautiful. The road there is sand and bumpy. We were told they were going to pave it. The dust and grit from the road can be challenging, but the beach and surrounding area are worth the visit.

It depends on the winds, it might be calm or rough! Nevertheless its beautiful. You may also want to go to the beach further down, Parthena beach, or Liofago or Orkos beach or Plaka beach. Depends the time of the year, usually July & August we have the meltemi period winds that the surfers will for sure enjoy!
