Cestou na samotný cíp sú...More

We took the shuttle bus here from Port de Pollenca, which was the most exciting coach journey of my young life so far - it took us through the mountains along beautiful winding roads...I simply couldn't stop looking out of the window! When we reached...More

We loved this place so much, we visited it twice. Once early morning with the drone and once for a sundowner, “just” with the camera. Both experiences are beautiful, of course. Not sure how crowded it is during the day but I guess VERY crowded....More

Unfortunately our visit of Cap Formentor was completely spoiled by absolutely awful shuttle service , I’ve not seen such a bad organisation in any touristic attraction in my life! If you come to visit the Cap by your car after 10am you have to leave...More

The drive up to CdF is really not as bad as some say - if you’ve ever driven in the mountains then you’ll have no trouble on this road either. See below - not accessible by car between 10-19h in the summer, then only by...More

After reading reviews here we went to cap formentor to see the view from the top. The route is very difficult and scary (for me) but when arriving to the top the view was amazing. There is a free parking there but you have to...More

We visited here to see the view point it was ok but not that exciting, the views on the way up are very good and then going down I loved hearing all the crickets in the trees really noisy. We were warned about thieves but...More

Once you park your car, I recalled there were a couple of different walking routes - but the walk to the very top is the one we did - more than 300 steps and stunning views all along the way.

If you don't know the answer don't guess! The name of the lookout BEFORE the lighthouse (as you asked) is mirador es colomer Formentor. There is also Talaia d'Albercutx which is opposite the mirador. Hope this helps!

I cycled from Port du Pollenca to Cap de Formentor and that was a lovely ride and avoided the massive tailback of motorists. You would need to be a reasonably fit cyclist though. An alternative might be to hire motor... More
