We visited in January when the temp was in the mid 50's (F) and the water was much colder - despite the wind and low temps in winter I found it refreshing to walk barefoot for a while in the water.

small seaside town, beautiful sea, large sandy beaches. lots of restaurants and bars, though we went in March and many were closed.

as it is off season,no crowd at all,its like a desert kind of sea beach now.. no fascinating stuff at all :( but its naturally beautiful beach no doubt!

Great for family holidays. Clean sea sandy beaches historical towns, just perfect for relaxing holiday. The time slows down in this place...

From Alba Adriatica through Tortoreto Lido to Giulianova is avery gentle 1 hour cycle on a very safe route suitable for all the family
