Communication with the manager via whatsapp was very good, despite the slightly makeshift look of the office everything felt absolutely professional. I made a reservation before our arrival and had to alter the deal slightly, the manager handled everything perfectly and was very forthcoming. The Renault Duster we rented left nothing to ask for, sure it had some visual signs of usage as expected for a car thats driven off road a lot, but despite of this it was 100% functional. Only slight downside was that we couldn't connect our smartphones to the stereo via bluetooth. I recommend bringing an Aux cable if music is important to you, just in case.

It was at least 5 or 6 times that I rented a car at this company and there is no other that I could recommend on the island of Boavista. I've had bad experiences with other rentals so lately I don't even think twice. The cars are modern, strong and the best there is to ride offroad on the island and the assistance of the staff could not be better. TOP

Dont expect any advice on best roads to arrive to boa esperanza or santa monica. We get stucked in the sand in boa esperansa and just for sending a local 4x4 taxi to help us they made us pay 100 euros while you can rent a taxi for the whole day for 70, 80 euros. Also when we called and asked for the price of help they said they didnt know, that depends on the "mechanic" and when we return the car later they said that they have already told me the price of 100 eur when we rent the car...

Good Morning here in our company we always make a point of informing clients of everything, I'm sorry if Mr. had bad experience but the price of the trailer costs between 100 and 150 euros! unfortunately we can not take our customers by the hand and take them where you can not get bogged down but are always informed of the possibility and the costs! thanks

I found Sueli to be very helpful and have nothing but praise for La Perla car hire. I was able to hire about 12 months in advance and received prompt responses to any e-mails (immediate in at least a few cases). Sueli was waiting at the airport on arrival and found me on departure. Received a very good description of important aspects of the car including the 4WD which was unfamiliar to me. The positive experience with car hire contributed to a great holiday. Recommend La Perla strongly to other travelers.

The car we rented was damaged while parking in front of our Apartment with hit and run. Although it was evident that it was not our faught we were treated as if we were guilty. They became very unfriendly with us and we had to pay the full allowance. Although the owner of our Apartment tried to support us the owner of la perla didnt submit to a compromise. We cannot recommend this car rental.
