Bought tickets online, received the confirmation very soon. Organisation was exceptional. We booked an 1.5 tour on a speedboat. It was great, we saw whales from a 10-15 m distance. This experience is indescribable! The stuff is very polite and friendly, explains everything. The boat was comfortable, the overalls were provided. I would recommend everyone to include whale watching in their program while traveling through Iceland!

The tour was frustrating for 2 reasons: - there was a pb with the engine of the boat and we had to change captain and wasted time to see whales. Once the pb fixed, the new captain was very slow to drive the boat and never got closed to the whales as the other boats did, that is why it was frustrating : why couldn't we get closed to the whales like the boats of the other companies? - Then it was supposed to be a whale watching and FISHING tour, that is why we had chosen this tour and there was no fishing: we were told after I asked the tour leader on our way back. However when I had emailed Artic sea tour bc we hadn't received our vouchers, I had refered to the fishing and again when we arrived in their office and they never told us they had cancelled it bc of covid. Moreover many customers' opinions on this tour mentioned the fishing, which made us think there was really fishing on the tour. They should have deleted those irrelevant messages. Well as a conclusion, we didn't think the leaders were motivated and willing to please tourists. If I had known before I would have chosen a tour with a speed boat from another company. I hope this msg will help other tourists to know what to expect.

My friends and I did the express whale watching on their rib boat and all of us had a great time. It was fast and thrilling, but also very smooth. I’ve done many whale watching tours on larger vessels, and the speed boat is definitely the BEST (and faster!) option to see and get a bit closer to whales/wildlife. You can comfortably enjoy the tour without anyone getting in your line of sight as well. Thank you Arctic Sea Tours for a wonderful tour!

After a friendly welcome in which we were given comfortable warm overalls, we boarded the rib boat. The guide was very good in spotting the whales and the dolphins, where the fast comfortable rib boat brought us very quickly very close to these animals: amazing to be able to see them up so close (even regularly right next to the boat) – just awesome! The sunset at sea itself was so movingly beautiful and that it didn't get dark was also an experience in itself. Back to land, we were welcomed again by the friendly owner to share our experiences.
