where it's the Vietnamese fault or mankind generally the sea is full of rubbish. What a shame as the ocean is a beautiful place and i enjoyed my holiday at Famiana which is a beach side resort. What i didn't enjoy was swimming in the...More

More of the same. Garbage, garbage garbage. And they blame the tides. But why don’t you clean it?! It’s a pity.

Quite pricey sunbeds and some rather suspect smells and coloured water leading into the sea... The taxi situation leaving is also very unclear.

Long beach lies on the western coast of Phu Quoc and for the most part is a thin patch of littered sand. The level of litter depends on whether the resort above the beach cleans their patch. Sadly on our walk only about 20% seem...More

A beautiful beach with some caveats. If you are directly in front of a resort frequented by European/Australian/American tourists then the resort staff keep that area of beach pretty clean. However, wanted outside that area and you will be confronted with a lot of garbage...More

We went to Long Beach via the resort we were staying at and although normally it is a beautiful beach, it was very dirty with a lot of plastic rubbish. Didn’t swim in it as it was extremely rough and water was murky.

I think this beach might be nicer when the wind isn’t blowing on shore, but when we were there all the rubbish was blowing up onto the beach, it was very sad. Not just a little rubbish, but for eg, we had a timber door...More

Beautiful seascape and it's quiet. You will get locals singing karaoke and having picnics. But there's enough space to share and get your peace and quiet. Lovely place for pics.
