Well worth a visit to learn about the history of the pumping station - amazing Victorian building. Sadly it was not a 'steam' day - worth looking at the website to find out special events too.

When we got married I'm sure they said dogs were allowed on the grounds on leads but not inside the attractions, but to be sure contact Ashley there he is in charge and very accommodating.

I think its open all the time but its only running on special steaming days and its not nearly as impressive when its not running.
