You need to allow a lot of time to get around this Castle/Museum which is fascinating. There is much more inside to see than you think and it is well presented.

This former fortress, then hospital, then prison, and now museum is well preserved. Its display of art and ceramics (one of the specialities of the town) are worth seeing.

The museum was easy to reach and full of interesting items. There were different language guides available, that supplemented the written, albeit imperfect, hand out
