It is too small to call it even a park. It is better off as as view point from where we can see the valley below and the highway. Apart from that there is nothing much to do for staying for more than 10-15 min. It is a sunset point too but with so many mosquitoes it is not worth waiting. we were to view a waterfall too from there but it is seen only during monsoon now it is completely dry. The small water pond has two ducks which too was poorly maintained. we actually enjoyed eating ice golas outside the park.

The rajmachi point, or the rajmachi park is located in khandala, the park is not well maintained, but is a okay place for a leisurly walk overlooking the valley. the view is engrossing.
Worth a visit, if you are travelling through the Lonavala-Khandala Road.
Nothing special to lure you to go out of your way to visit this.

This is one of the nice places in Lonavala for photography. You can see very nice view of Mumbai-Pune expressway from this place. This park is not well maintained park and if you give foods to monkeys in this place please be careful. Because when we give they come as groups and attack to people. Waterfalls with vally is so beautiful. Could see waterfalls in nice view from this place. In this park childrens park also there. But not well maintained. Reached to this place by taxi from Lonavala railway station.

Khandala Ghat at Rajmachi Garden - A favorite destination to enjoy the nature's trail, in any season
Sept 2015 • Family
Rajmachi Garden (Park) is our favorite destination to enjoy the nature's trail, in any season, specially in monsoon it is at it best.
Rajmachi Garden is right on Pune-Mumbai old highway and best place to have breath talking view of Khandala Ghat. In a Rainy Weather, Rajmachi is at it best, its like driving in Cloud, can't see next vehicle, only the Blinking Fog light of next vehicle. This Garden is highest drive able peak at Lonavala - Khandala Ghat.
Going from Mumbai, we use Old Mumbai-Pune High way to reach Khandala (excellent Road and only Rs.45 Toll for up and down from Mumbai, as against Rs.234 of through express way), very smooth Drive, very less traffic, reached Rajmachi in 90 Minutes drive from Powai, Mumbai
We entered in a Ghat from Khapoli, this Ghat is one of most steep ghat, hence needs to drive very very carefully and also needs experience to deal with steep and pin-band ghat section, by end of the Ghat .
Traffic Police team was on duty to help & guide travelers to drive in Foggy weather. They advised us to put all lights and indicator on, Window Open and use horn.
In front of Garden we parked the car, (safe parking Road side area) and walk-in the Garden, however garden was fully muddy, hence state way goes to view Point railing to view the deep valley, Kune Waterfalls, you can also spot Nagphani (Duke's Nose) from here.
Awesome breath taking scenery of roaming cloud from here. No words just feel the nature, run in the cloud, touch the cloud, see Photos. A Life time experience for me and my Family.
Please remember, visiting to Khandala Ghat, during Rainy Season make sure, your Fog lamp is working, breaks are examined.

This is not a well maintained park. Just some trees and few plants. You won't get enough place to sit and relax. You will get a view of the valley. But you will get a better view from other spots like reversing station and shooting point. I visited this place in February. So there was no greenery.

Only reason I went to visit this place was because it was on the list of places that were recommended to me (online) to visit when in Lonavala. I am not sure why this place is called a park. I didn't anything like a park there. Poorly maintained and nothing to boast about except 2 ducks and 1 lotus flower that I clicked using my newly brought DSLR. Yes, there is a view of the valley and the mumbai-pune expressway but then nothing special at all about it. Waste of time for me..

Rajmachi Point is evergreen great ! Saw it from childhood, gave me a great sense of freedom and goosebumps that there lived the tiger once upon a time, went all over the world, come back time and again. Always made me feel that there is a place where no one can really go and build when all around there are buildings ! Hope it remains.
