Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did a 3-days hike with Said and we had a great time. He explained us a lot about the nature in the Usambara mountains, took us to amazing places and gave us lots of insights into the lives of the locals. He is a very friendly guy with a incredible history. I recommend him highly for a multiple day hike in the Usambara mountains. Asante sana Said!

We did a 3 day hike through the Usambara mountains with Said and Moses. The surroundings were beautiful. Walking through the villages and farms was a great experience and we learned a lot about local life from our guides. Every day we had guacamole, chapati and fresh fruits for lunch. Would definitely recommend!

We were a group of 10 students on af 4 days (3 nights) hiking trip with Said In Usambara. I really enjoyed it! Beautiful Nature and hikes! Said is very kind and good humor!
Only thing to point out is that the food is 90% carbs (rice, pasta, bread, chapati), which is a little sad when there is so much fresh food around!! Amount is food was plenty.
Remember snacks ;-)

Two female travellers joined Said for a 3 day, 2 night hike in the Usambara mountains. The route took us through forests, villages, farms and amazing viewpoints. Along the way Said shared his extensive knowledge of local plants, animals and culture. We had a lovely time and highly recommend this tour

We did a 3 day hike with Usambara adventures and it was fantastic. Before booking Said (our guide) put together an itinerary based the distance we wanted to walk each day. He then arrange every last detail (food, accommodation, route) and it was all amazing. The Usambara mountains are beautiful and the people are very friendly. My top recommendation for what to do in Tanzania, and a reason to visit Tanzania in itself. Not only was Said an great guide, he's a pretty cool dude, the trip is worth it just to talk to him for a bit. Said also adapted the trip because we were sick on the first day and helped us book transport back to Dar es salaam.

We did a 3 days Hike with Said starting from Lushoto ending in Mambo. Said is a very experienced, nice guide with a big heart and good kind of humor. He has a very well knowledge about the environment (animals, plants), agriculture, the way how local people live & many more. And for sure I have to mention the tasty guacamole & chapati we had for lunch :-)

We were 10 students that went on a 2 day hike in Armani and a 4 day hike in West Usambara. We hiked through local villages, farms, and beautiful nature. He taught us about the local culture, botanics and even local agricultural methods! He was an amazing guide with great routes! We have already recommended Said to our other friends traveling here!

One of the best hikes I've been on, very beautiful countryside and amazing to greet and see how many of the locals live and work!
The "bush baby" guesthouse was especially nice, where we stayed the first night. And you can have a hot bath every day - true glamping!
Our guide Obedi was very good and I would recommend him very much, such a nice guy and knows a lot of different interesting things about the nature and Tanzania in generel, don't be afraid to ask him about anything!
