First time here, not far from where we are staying. A short boat ride away for 1.50 return each. Perfect sunny day, nice and quiet. Parasol and deck chairs for hire for a good price. A must visit for a peaceful time away.

This is our favourite beach in the Tavira area. Access is via a small ferry from the Cabanas quay - €1.50 return and you buy tickets on board. It’s rare to have to wait more than a few minutes as the boats go back and...More

Was so beautiful with a wild surf, I did not swim out as the surf was rough but others did more skilled in accommodating the waves. You can rent loungers under umbrellas to relax and enjoy.

Sun loungers 10 euros for 2 for a day! Great blue flag beach! Clear water! Good café which sold Somersby cider What more does a girl need?

Unspoilt, uncrowded with good facilities, justifying blue flag. Access is fun and very frequent (every 5 to 10 minutes) water taxis. 3-4 minute trip for a couple of eros return.

There is a restaurant on the beach near the loungers, further along from where the free boat from Goldens Cabanas Hotel drops you off. But I wouldn't bother going as the staff were rude!!

Just goes on for miles, take you own brolly and walk along to a quiet area, lovely. Best to take drink and food if staying for the day.

This is a fabulous beach and when we went it was quiet too which made it all the nicer It's a white beach and the sand was lovely No pebbles to hurt your feet getting into the sea either

This beach does get busy but if you walk a little you are left with a beautiful beach with no crowds. Access to the beach is via ferry/water taxi which takes a couple of minutes and very easy at reasonable cost.
