At the Ionian island (Lefkada) is a very touristic village called Nydri. At the middle of this village is a road for a very beautiful canyon with a waterfall at the end of 350m walking distance from parking.Easy access with a very relaxing canteen at the beginning of the trail.

The walk to the waterfall was great. Beautiful nature. Luckily the waterfall wasn't dry and nice to watch.

Greek islands are notorioysly dry. Not so for Lefkas and Nidri waterfalls have to be seen to be believed. It is a short walk but can be challenging for inexperienced, older or very young people. But it is definately worth your time, you will see...More

A good escape from the beach during a hot day. Worth the road definitely. Perfect Ice cold water. Could be crowded sometimes.

A must see if on the island. Best time is spring and summer however it dries up alot july and august. If not so mobile by foot not recommended. It is a long walk there. But worth it. Small coffee place before getting there.

It's a long hot walk from nidri with young children. Take plenty off water. The walkways up the waterfalls are a bit dangerous but when you get too the top and go for a very cold dip in the water.

We spent time here with my family and friends during hot summer and bathing in this canyon was so refreshing. Very nice and calm place.

In October there is hardly any water left, a waterfall like a running tap.... But the location is so beautifum that you should go there!

I'd suggest you park somewhere in Nydri and go there by foot. You'll have to take a 40 minutes walk, most of the time you will be among olive trees. I personally found the trip very relaxing. Enjoy!
