Four of us took a trip on this cruise recently. The boat leaves West Itchenor four times a day (not sure if they sail every day) and we were lucky enough to get places on the next sailing at 10 minutes notice. The boat headed...More

We have been meaning to do this trip since we moved here 5 years ago, but keep missing the short summer season for sailings. We had a choice of 2.00 or 4.30 ,we were advised there was a group of 20 booked for 2,00p.m. Also...More

We took the 12:30 sailing today. The skipper of the boat was very friendly and knowledgable. We took an almost 4 year old with us and she did enjoy it but she is quite easily occupied. Other children on the boat were less enthralled by...More

We took the 4:30 sailing and had a quieter boat (this was still August) so no issues with overcrowding or lots of bored children. One little lad on board did run out of things to find interesting, but 90 mins is a long time at...More

The route taken round the harbour does depend on the tides so can vary. The master provides a running commentary but it's sometimes difficult to hear him and one needs to see which way he's pointing when describing coastal features. It's a slightly uncomfortable boat...More

Chichester harbour is a wonderful unspoilt place, with a rich natural history, so we were really looking forward to seeing lots, hearing more about it. There's a great view from the boat, with lots of interesting boats around, so we had a pleasant time. Unfortunately,...More

It was a warm and sunny day, perfect for being out on the water so we decided to book a trip on the Wingate which cruises from Itchenor around Chichester Harbour. Unfortunately, we wished we hadn't bothered. It's not possible to book in advance (unless...More

A beautiful day to be exploring Chichester harbour - it was a very interesting trip thanks to the commentary from the skipper. We all enjoyed it.

Had a lovely hour and a half cruise round Chichester Harbour, made all the more enjoyable by the skipper, who gave out plenty of information during the trip and was happy to answer questions. Boat was not crowded on the day that we visited, think...More

Didn't even occur to me at the time, so I really don't know. There is a tiny cabin in the bows where they boil a kettle, so any toilet would be tiny. There is a toilet where you wait to pay.

The boat is from the cruse ship Canberra and as such no toilets were fitted when new, still the case, but a lovely trip around the harbour.
