Visiting this small museum which is not in the tourist cities of Israel, is well worthwhile.. It may not be the largest museum you have ever visited but it is compact and informative and puts into prospective the turmoil that this land has been going...More

A small gem of a museum which gives a clear and interesting account of the invasion of the Levant by the Sea People, particularly the Philistines. This invasion brought to the region their more advanced material culture, and naturally alongside this, their own gods. This...More

If in Ashdod, this museum is DEFINITELY worth a visit: Excellently curated, it manages to fit a lot of intesting facts and artifacts into a small display area. Enjoy! Cynthia and Ilan Rubin, Jerusalem

Small museum of artifacts. The narrator is very interesting as is her stories. One interactive thing is Samson pulling down the pillars. Nice interlude for an hour or two in the afternoon.
