Светлый храм посёлка Раутиярви венчает холм над озером, поэтому его хорошо заметно даже с меридиальной автотрассы 6, идущей от приграничной Иматры на север. Храм деревянный, как и большинство церквей в этих местах, интересно сочетание строгих, даже готических линий колокольни и барочного купола кафедрального зала.

Деревянная лютеранская церковь светло-серого цвета поселка Rautjärvi находится недалеко от Imatra на холме у берега озера. Построена в 1881 году по проекту архитектора A.J. Jansson, мастером-строителем был Karl Gustav Kajander. Как чаще всего и бывает, вокруг церкви находится старое кладбище, скульптурный монумент памяти, все ограждено невысоким каменным забором. В 1905 году рядом с храмом построен Pitäjäntupa (Приходской зал для приходских собраний). Церковь имеет несколько предшественников, это уже пятая церковь в почти том же месте, две из них сгорели в 1743 и 1872 годах. Последний ремонт нынешней проводился в начале 2000-х годов. Сейчас храм может разместить до 1200 прихожан. Основная служба - воскресная утренняя Литургия. Перед входом в церковь расположена довольно большая площадка для паркинга. Принадлежит лютеранскому приходу Rautjärven seurakunta.
