We love the gorgeous sandy beach but the pier has gone downhill few empty spaces in there & the sketch your face machine gone 😕 Clacton pier is much better but Walton beach is ace 😀

so we wanted to go fossil hunting and see the beach so went to the area by the naze tower. steep stairs on 2 different areas and no access for wheel chairs. nor pushchair. so not an area for anyone who fits into those. the...More

Sand nice for kids to play on, if you catch tide at right time, check tide table. Not much room on beach if tide high, can always go on pier also nice.

about 3/4 to one hour after high tide there will be sand showing

plenty of wet sand but no mud at the town beach some mud up at the cliffs at naze end

Yes car park still there next to pool also along beach, and car park in town, which has market some days but not sure when.
