This is a UNESCO World heritage site. Its a beautiful waterfall where you can climb up a protected path within the mountain and you can see the water fall and pool and gush along the mountain crevice. It is a bit of a climb but...More

This is certainly a scenic place, and if you're in the area it is worth a visit. This is similar to Trummelbach Falls but unfortunately pales in comparison. It is much smaller in scale and size. I took public transportation from Interlaken West and it...More

Water pouring down from the glacier craved mots beautiful gorges. The entrance is just off the main road, the train is well protected and beautifully maintained - as are most of the things in Switzerland. A must see. UNESCO heritage.

Never have I seen anything as dramatic as the Rosenlaui gorge. After having paid our fee at the kiosk, we find ourselves in a narrow rock fissure that the wild water cuts through swirling down from one pool to the next and making a thundering...More

This is a highlight if you are in the Haslital region above Meiringen. The walk through this glaciar gorge in Rosenlaui is particularly impressive. The path can be wet and people with vertigo should not watch the river below. But the scenery is fantastic. It...More

Great pathway has been built right through the gorge. You're so close to the gushing water that at times you cannot hear anyone talking. Loads of walks in the area if you're interested in hiking with many fireplaces as well for a grill.

The path along the gorge is really impressive - so close to the water, so many tunnels. At the top, a quick walk up gives access to amazing views of the valley & glacier. There is also an option for a 3 hour (round trip)...More
