Weather was either very hot or breezy but you can always get out of it and find shelter. Good chances cafe has toilet block attached. Cafe offers food inside and outside and a take away service.

There's extensive parking on the cliff top, easy access to the beach for pushchairs etc. Public loos and the Clifftop cafe - everything you need. It's good for surfers but I love walking through the gorse up to the castle and Mudeford Quay. Lovely views...More

Beautiful clean beach, lovely aspect over Poole harbour; good view of the Needles Isle of Wight; steep stairs may be a concern for those with limited mobility

A couple of hours to do but be sure to head up to the headland and down the peninsula to view some of the most expensive beach huts in the UK

Used the beach for an afternoon walk. Beach was easily accessible, good for families. Lots of places offer wings refreshments. Car parking directly at the front. Very nice beach area.

What a beautiful tucked away beach! Lovely sands shores, open stretches for children and dogs to play. We shall certainly be back

Highcliffe beach is lovely for a walk in the sea air or to spend time taking in the stunning views and calming sounds of the sea. It is less crowded than other local beaches but offers large areas of sandy beach to sit or play...More

Highcliffe is a long expanse of a mixture of sand and shingle beach, there are designated areas where it is safe to swim, and warnings on the stretches of beach that are not safe. If the beach is not your thing then there are paths...More

I don't think so. To be sure you could check with Christchurch council who is the local authority for Highcliffe.
