Mudeford Quay is a small beautiful corner of the Borough of Christchurch in Dorset, England. Situated at the entrance of Christchurch Harbour, Mudeford Quay benefits from spectacular views along the coast, over to the Needles on the Isle of Wight & back to Christchurch town. Mudeford Quay is made up of two areas, the Quay itself and Mudeford Spit, a natural sandbank which leads to Hengisbury Head all the way to Boscombe & Bournemouth. The Quay is a hub of activity with beautiful beaches, the lush grassed area ideal for picnics and enjoying the beautiful scenery and the Quayside itself which has a small shops, a pub, a fish stall and plenty of vantage points to watch the world go by.

A favourite place of ours to enjoy being close to the water. There’s long stretch of beach and harbour that meet at the Quay. A stroll along the promenade you’ll find children crabbing with their nets and buckets. There’s a playground for little kids, nice...More

Lovely place for a walk in the winter when it isn't so busy. Lovely views and very pleasurable. Summer it's very busy as it's such a popular place so when it's cooler it's time to really take in the beauty of the area.

To be completely honest, there is very little here. There is a beach, a pub, and a waterfront. A better day out would be to going at it from the other side by having a day out at Hengistbury head, Where a long resfreshin walk...More

We stayed 1 night in the black house, although it’s showing it’s age. Fantastic location, brilliant views. Ferry ride is excellent. A great hideaway from the rest of civilisation

We like to go here as often as we can get away. A great place for kids in the summer. Crabbing from the quay is a time honoured pass time and certainly for 3 generations of our family. Love it.
