Wonderfully rugged west coast beach, black sand, lots to explore, plenty of driftwood, great place to watch the sunset. Good waves, great for families, 10 minutes drive from Hawera.

Spent four nights here in November. Manager Phoebe was the perfect manager. Obliging and relaxed with buckets of personality. Camp facilities were clean and quirky. Will definitely go back one day.
