The climb to the top can be made a bit more fun if playing the Harry Potter theme music. The view from the top is great plus you may get to see nesting pigeons on your way up too.

You to go to the Isite next door, Surprisingly they don’t give you a ticket in exchange for your NZ$2.50 but give you a key to the Tower front door.

Can’t complain about this activity. $2.50 to wander up about 215 steps to the top and see a view of the region. Can be a little steep in places but not really difficult.

For exceptional views over Hawera, this iconic water tower is definitely worth a visit. Part of the town's history, this tower is recognisable.

A great thing to do with the family, costs very little, try to do it on a clear day.You really get a birds eye view with a 360 degree lookout.
