You to go to the Isite next door, Surprisingly they don’t give you a ticket in exchange for your NZ$2.50 but give you a key to the Tower front door.

Can’t complain about this activity. $2.50 to wander up about 215 steps to the top and see a view of the region. Can be a little steep in places but not really difficult.

$2.50 per person! I mean how cheap is that for what is an excellent activity. You'll need an average level of fitness and not mind being a bit cramped at the very top, but that said this is a great way to spend half an...More

For exceptional views over Hawera, this iconic water tower is definitely worth a visit. Part of the town's history, this tower is recognisable.

A great thing to do with the family, costs very little, try to do it on a clear day.You really get a birds eye view with a 360 degree lookout.

For a small entrance fee, it's worth the hike up the 200+ steps to get near the top of this historic water tower. With 360 views around Hawera and beyond, it's a great way to be elevated in this relatively flat town.
